Getting Back To Normal

Whatever "normal" is.  At this point, we are in the process of establishing a new normal.

I'm feeling better every day, which is a blessing!  I've been to my regular doc, progressing as I should be.

My Etsy shop seems to be in a lull at the moment.  I have a few orders to fill, I'll be getting started on them today.  4 critters never seen in my shop before for an old friend of mine, and a couple regular critters, with a little variation...and I have been working on a few new ones to add to the shop, too.

My girls are getting settled in downstairs quite well.  Everything is as put away as it's going to be, and we're making a quick trip to Target to get something to keep all of Delightful Delilah's toys in.  That girl has some toys!

We are expecting a big Winter Storm to hit our area tonight.  We will probably be getting more ice than snow, so I probably won't get any farther than letting the dogs out the back door tomorrow.  Our shelves are stocked, the vehicles are gassed up, we have plenty of blankets and quilts...hopefully this will be the last snow of the season.

I am ready for Spring, as I'm sure you all are as well.  I'm ready to shed a layer of clothing, I'm ready to open my windows and let some fresh air into this house!  I'm ready for the grass and the leaves to turn green again, to hear the birds singing in the blue spruce trees in my backyard.  I'm ready to play in the dirt, plant some seeds, grow some flowers and veggies...I'm ready!

Play Nice!

  2. Glad things are getting back to normal for you. And I can't wait to see the new critters! Spring will be here before you know it and I'm looking forward to it too, even if my winters aren't anything near what your's are like.

  3. So glad you are feeling better AND that you have your family tucked securely inside. :-)
I guess I'm weird. Now that we have a generator, I'm like, "bring it on". As long as I've got electricity, running water AND food, I'm ok with being snowed in for a day or so. Go ahead and wish it my direction.
